Why Wyoming?

Yellowstone Park is in Wyoming.  Did you know last Saturday was Public Lands Day?  That meant it was free to enter all US National Parks.  There are several free days throughout the year.  The last free day this year is November 11th, Veterans Day.  The geyser in the background is Spasm Geyser.

  1. Those shadow pics are the COOLEST!!!! I love them! My dad grew up in St Anthony. I had no idea there were sand dunes there.

And one thing I've definitely missed since moving east were our annual trips to Yellowstone - I never got tired of Yellowstone and have been itching to take the kids there. Oh well, maybe next summer!

  2. We got free admission to Fort Christensted a National Park on Saturday. Elder Babcock didn't bring his Golden Age Pass and might have had to pay $3.

  3. I did know that and I totally forgot! It was such a crazy day around here I guess we couldn't have fit it in anyway. So glad that you got to though! And thank you for telling us the date for the next free day. I will put it on my calendar right away.
