Lady bugs seem like such happy bugs. Friendly. I'm sure it's just because they are pretty and don't bite me- but I like them.
I would like to take those perfect apricots and either chomp them or smash them into sauce. How was the taste? Sometimes a perfect outside is concealing a taste like bland mush.
I'm finding I like the under-ripe ones better. The "perfect" ones are a little bland. Made a savory sauce with them last night. Delicious!
