Hiding Flower

The gardeners who lived here before us planted bulbs throughout the yard a long time ago. Bushes have grown around most of them. If I hadn't been looking closely, I'd have missed these flowers that are growing in the middle of a bush. 

It rained a lot yesterday. I love raindrops on petals.

White Dove

The doves in our neighborhood are usually grey (like the one on the right), so I was surprised to see a white bird on our back fence. It's the same white bird in all three pictures, but it sure looks different depending on how it stands or sits.
I like the idea of a symbol of peace hanging around my backyard.
