Sights of Winter


The snow was beautifully cradled in the arms of the apple tree.

Last year was not a year for apples. 
I'm surprised the birds haven't found this one.
Looks like a worm did.

Wheeler Sheep

I would have not really noticed this sheep, but my husband pointed it out. Earlier, I'd walked past without noticing it was sitting on top of an overturned water container. It was clearly enjoying the sunshine and trying hard to sleep. Every once in a while, it would open its eyes and look at us, but then quickly closed its eyes and went back to trying to sleep or meditate or whatever it is that sheep do.
