I saw THIS idea and decided to try it.
She wanted to paint with me. And I thought it needed something more.
She came up with the idea of hand prints. I came up with the idea of using several colors. I really like the result.
Now you ask, Will it wash off? And I answer, I have no idea. But I'm suspecting it will. It's just craft paint.

ReplyDeleteHey, that will make Tiffany feel great, that she inspired you to try it! Good for you! Adding some liquid soap to craft paint helps make it easier to wash off later. I thought your handprints looked great--and they reminded me of the turkey hands we all made in school...I am loving all the Thanksgiving trees: bare sticks with scrapbook paper leaves with hole punched to slide down on branch, and write blessing on leaf. May try that up at Luanna's tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteOh! Wish I had known about the soap. I should have asked. If nothing else, a razor blade should scrape it all off.
ReplyDeleteI used to use craft paint on our windows all the time and a little washing and scraping was all it needed. The liquid soap would have been much easier though! Good idea for future reference! I LOVE that you mixed up the colors in the handprints. Brilliant idea and the whole thing looks wonderful! Happy Thanksgiving!
