Antelope Island Adventure

It was a good, quiet day on Antelope Island. We saw pelicans, buffalo, antelope, and a lone coyote.
I've been learning about poetic forms and attempting them. The following is a cinquain I wrote on our way home. It's sort of like a haiku, only with different numbers of required syllables: 2,4,6,8,2. Pretty fun.

Roaming through sage and grass
Beastly looks, docile demeanor

  1. Interesting form. I'm glad you are writing. Nicely done.
