The Tulip Tree Has Bloomed!

Over the years, I've posted about my daughter's tulip tree on this blog. Here's one link: TREE. On June 1st, my husband noticed it bloomed! It was supposed to take 15-20 years, but it bloomed after only about nine or ten. We are thrilled.

Jordan River Parkway Trail- 54th to 48th South

Every time we walked past the pink wild roses, the air was filled with their perfume.

This sign is just off of 48th South by the Jordan River Parkway Trail on the west side of the Jordan River. When we were there last week, the area was full of many different types of irises and a few other flowers. The poppies were particularly striking. There may be more of them this week or next. Being there was a true visual treasure.
