Wheeler Farm Last Thursday Morning

Last year, the powers that be cut down many trees and all their undergrowth in the wild area at Wheeler Farm. I was worried about all the little animals whose homes were destroyed.

This year, a lot of vegetation has regrown in the area. No trees yet, but maybe some baby trees. It made me so happy to think that the foxes must feel better, that they have more places to hide, and more places to hunt. The birds, rodents, and snakes are probably liking it too. I'm glad that life finds a way to go on despite occasional devastation.

We also spent some time in the demonstration garden, so not all of these pictures are from the wild area of the farm.
