More Wheeler Farm
I have avoided Wheeler Farm recently because of the tree removal, but we returned last Friday. It seems as if they're finished destroying the areas they planned to destroy. I'm glad it's a big place and that there are areas of the farm that remain pleasant. The pampas grass by the activity barn is always cool.

Antelope Island on Solar Eclipse Day
On Saturday, October 14th, we drove out to Antelope Island to enjoy seeing the annular solar eclipse. When we first arrived, clouds were covering the sun. Every once in a while, we'd get a glimpse. Gradually, the sky cleared. Thankfully, we were able to see most of the eclipse. We also enjoyed other parts of being on the island including a hike to the top of Buffalo Point. It was an excellent day to be there. These pictures are out of order. Unless marked otherwise, they were taken on Buffalo Point. We started out driving straight past the Fielding Garr Ranch to the furthest you can drive on the southern part of island. Then we drove north again to visit the Buffalo Island Grill to eat real bison burgers and root beer floats. Finally, we climbed to the top of Buffalo Point.

At Hill Aerospace Museum
The Hill Aerospace Museum is worth visiting. There's a lot of history there. They have a lot of things to read about airplanes, helicopters, and how they were used in wars. The colors and shapes are impressive. The guides are knowledgeable. We didn't read as much as could have, so we were only there for an hour and a half. Many people spend hours here. They are expanding with a new gallery opening soon, so they will be closed for a week at the end of October.
